Yeah, I know its a watse as I have less than 10 posts after I revamp this site. Do see you guys on the other side. Bye.

Tooooot toooooot~~~~

The result for the first round is out, I only manage to use RM314.07 for my handphone bill. The RM314.07 includes, IDD, MMS, SMS, calls, GPRS browsing, downloading songs and java games, caller ringtone, etc etc. Its really different working in Maxis compared to working in other companies. With RM350, I keep in touch with my friends more. There are some who even would send me a SMS after the call saying thanks, you guys know who you are, so no need to mention here la :) For official calls, we are allowed it waive it. So the RM350 is totally for personal use.

For you guys out there who keep asking me what do I have for you, I can only buy caller ringtones for you. Yes, just tell me what caller ringtones that you want, and I'll buy it for you only if you can make me happy *grin*, Oh shit, I forgot my gf is reading my blog. Other than that, you can ask me for my phone to make a call when I'm around, as long as you don't make calls to 600-KISS-ME, etc etc.

Last friday, it was Friday the 13th. Other than the haze, nothing bad happened. Reached Kepong about 10.15pm, after registering, went upstairs to the office. Once everything get settled down, my senior brought me to check out some of the servers. Went back to seniors desk and learned to do some stuff on the servers. Checked out some other servers when another senior came, after that we went down to check on the techs. There were about 16 techs and 10 engs working that night.

They even prepared food for us, but then we decided to have supper outside.Went out around 1am something and was back at 2.30am. When it was 3am, most of the engs was preparing to leave, I was told that I was free to leave too, so I sent a SMS to Sam to cancel the breakfast date. Reached home at 4.30am. For the on-site standby this weekend, I must work a full shift, not up until 3am only. So seriously, those who aren't asleep by then, please do miscall me.

No, I'm not filthy rich now, no OT, just some standard claims and I get one day off.

Respect

Fauzi Mustaffar (head of Takaful Malaysia’s Syariah department) told his staff via email
“Muslims who have inadvertently wished Hindus a happy Deepavali, happy Durga Pooja or happy Lakhshmi Pooja must immediately repent and not repeat it in the future.”

The exact words of Fauzi was

We only ask for mutual respect, is it too much to ask for? As a non-Muslim, I'm more cautious in what I say as we are easily being labelled racist and risk being thrown in jail by ISA.

I've had my fair share of religion ignorance which caused me discomfort, but you don't see me labelling some one as racist. Here's what happened. My gf and I wanted to have 1901 sausage for tea so we ordered a set which includes 2 sausages. We asked for 2 chicken sausage as my girl friend is a buddhist. The lady told me that they only have one chicken sausage and one beef sausage in the steamer and hinted us to take it. I insisted 2 chicken sausage, she answer with a slighty irritated voice asking us to wait.

Imagine me saying "Sorry Miss, we ran out of sambal, would you like to have our signature spicy mince pork or crispy lard to go with your nasi lemak?"

Movie

After being dissapointed by The Myth (神話), I was wary to go for another Jackie Chan movie, when Rob B Hood (宝贝计划) screened, I heard a lot of compliments so I went for it.

I would say that you would laugh from the beginning till the end but most are slapstick jokes rather than clever ones, the story was a bit cliché too. After a stressful day/week, this movie will do a lot of good for you. As for the visual/sound effect (involving baby poo), there are only minimal so buying VCD would be sufficient. In a nutshell, its worth your time watching this movie.

Later tonight will go for Talladega Nights, will see whether it's worth blogging about it or not.

@KC - Which one are you talking about?

Review for Talladega Nights, its slapstick jokes are even louder than Rob B Hood, may be these movies do sell well, again, if you are looking for laughter go on wednesday or a VCD for Talladega Nights

Money no enough, do-na-shion prease

Since our wallet's livelihood solely depends on ourselves, I'm more and more cheapskate then ever. Last saturday I went to Fila warehouse sale with my gf and my lil' bro. There was a genuine sale there, where things are marked down mostly by 60-70%. Even with that kind of price, Fila stuff are just too expensive, for example, I saw a nice sandles which was going for RM80. I was tempted by the design but was turned down by the price(even though you can't find this price any where), telling myself, I can live with my RM20 slippers.

As for watching movies, I'll try to arrange it on wednesday so that we can watch movies for 60% of the normal price (TGV & GSC), then I came arross this advert. Nnow not only I can plan my movie outings on wednesday, friday's not that bad as the lady can get RM6 per tix and a free drink. I'm still wondering whether there are people on Tuesday will walk out of the cinema to refill their popcorn in the middle of the movie. The refill only make sense for people who watch back to back movies.

Click on the advert to view in normal size

People up north and down south don't worry, there are Cathay cinemas near your place also, but I'm not sure whether the price is exclusive for Damansara as it's new and they need the crowd.

The new Cathay in DU is not bad, further more, Cathay only charges RM6 on wednesday as GSC charges RM7.
